• Bachelor of Education degree from Bowling Green State University
• Masters degree in Guidance and Counseling from Bowling Green State University
• Employed in 1972 at Sandusky High School as social studies teacher, football and basketball coach.
• Initiated the Adult Guidance Program in 1982.
• Served as Director of Guidance for Sandusky High School and has been involved in guidance and career counseling for the past 27 years.
Mr. Van Meter is available to assist with career planning, interest and aptitude assessment, and high school diploma requirements. Other services that he provides to Sandusky Career Center students are: counseling to overcome barriers to educational success, agency referrals, WorkKeys assessment interpretations, and preparation for employment.
