CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS, HEAL YOUR LIFE
This class focuses on changing the things in your life that don't work for you, letting go of the past, and moving forward. Together the class will explore "what we believe, where those beliefs came from,
letting go of those beliefs (if they no longer work for you) and how to release the past. Donna Bretz will also challenge you to look at your fears, your anger and forgiveness. Each week, she will offer insight and ideas, hand-outs, and exercises to help you live a better life. There will be group participation and sharing.

CONVERSATIONAL FRENCH FOR TRAVELERS - Level II
Taught by retired SHS French teacher John Schumm
After a brief review of materials covered in the basic conversational class, we will continue to explore and develop other areas of conversation such as temperature and weather, home furnishings and purchase items, directions, mail and postage, travel within other European countries, telephone usage, the Paris metro, family and expanded vocabulary of foods and clothing. Small amounts of grammer will be added to help you make sentences. Conversations will be supplied so that students can use the newly-learned structures and vocabulary.

BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY Learn how to use your camera to get the results you want! Learn to recognize subjects and situations that will look good in a picture - develop that “critical eye” that is necessary in order to become an excellent photographer. This 10-week course will cover black and white and color, focusing on lighting, aperture settings, composition, film speeds, and shutter speeds. STAINED GLASS - PENDULUM CLOCK
This class serves as a great way for students to expand upon the knowledge they gained in previous stained glass classes. Students will construct a beautiful 10’ x 22” glass panel utilizing the copper foil method. This panel will then be inserted into an oak frame and a pendulum clock movement will be installed and a reflective morror back will be attached. This a very special and functional stained glass project that the student will enjoy creating and be proud to display. Students taking this class must have previous stained glass experience or have taken a stained glass class. Students must have their own tool kit or can purchase additional tools in class if needed. Material fee of $90.00 is payable at the first class. Materials include: pendulum clock movement, clock face, oak frame, mirror and mounting hardware.

STAINED GLASS - WORKING WITH BEVELS
Students in this class will have the opportunity to utilize beveled glass, mirror and stained glass to create elegent candle holders and table center pieces. With the holidays approaching, students will find that these projects will be great for decorating or for gift giving. Emphisis will be placed on the use of beveled glass to create projects with brilliance and elegance. Students will have the opportunity to produce several projects and should find this to be one of the most rewarding stained glass classes available. Students taking this class must have previous stained glass experience or have taken a stained glass class. Students must have their own tool kit or can purchase additional tools in class if needed. Material fee of $45.00 is payable at the first class. Materials include: all bevels, glass, and mirror.

BEGINNING STAINED GLASS
This is our very thorough basic class. You will learn all of the basics of the Copper Foil Stained Glass method including proper glass cutting techniques, copper foil wrapping, soldering and application of finishing patina. Students will make two projects including a sun catcher and a small panel. This class will give students the knowledge and ability to construct larger, more advanced projects. Tool kit and material fee ($110 - $160) is payable at the first class.

INTRODUCTION TO GLASS FUSING
This is the class that many of the stained glass students have been waiting for to expand their knowledge in the stained glass arts. Students in this class will learn the basics of glass fusing while utilizing a kiln to heat glass, firing schedules and the do’s and don’ts of working with warm glass. Demonstrations will include: fusing, making a small vase using a dropout ring and slumping glass to make small plate. Students will also have the opportunity to make and keep several fused glass jewelry pieces. They will also work with dichrolc glass. Students must have previous stained glass cutting experience. A $40.00 material fee is due the first class. Students taking this class must have previous stained glass experience or have taken a stained glass class.

BASIC STAINED GLASS REPAIR AND RESTORATION
This is a must take course for aspiring stained glass artists and hobbyist. Anyone working in stained glass knows that repairs can be one of the most frustrating aspects of the art. This basic course will familiarize students with proper techniques to bring those stained glass lamps, windows, panels, suncatchers and other projects back to their original condition. Students may bring in their own projects that need repair and the instructor will bring in items for demonstration. Don’t miss out on this valuable learning experience. BEGINNING/REMEDIAL SEWING CLASS Students will learn the basics in sewing. Hand stitching, sewing on buttons, threading the sewing machine, how to wind a bobbin, and operating and controlling the sewing machine will all be covered. Students will also learn how to read and follow pattern directions as well as understanding pattern layouts. Students will complete a basic project and leave the class with skills which will allow them to continue sewing projects on their own in order to increase their sewing skills.
