Industrial Maintenance Program

The need for multi-crafted maintenance technicians has steadily increased in

the past decade and this career field is expected to offer steady employment

The opportunities indefinitely.  The Industrial Maintenance Technician is

expected to possess knowledge and skills in three key areas:  mechanical,

electrical, and welding.  This 674 hour program is designed to develop

critical thinking thinking skills in all three areas as students learn to diagnose

and troubleshoot problem situations in maintenance areas concerning

electrical, heating ventilation andcooling systems (HVAC), small engine,

plumbing, building construction techniques, and safety in all areas.  Use and

care of tools related to each subject is also stressed.  Combining the

knowledge of theory and principles withands-on lab work, this program offers

HVAC, Welding, Forklift, andOSHA Safety certifications, as well as career
